Why go into the wild?
The day we took our products up the mountain, rain began to fall in the forest, and mist and raindrops enveloped us. Others complained that the weather was less than ideal, but we found the rain and fog perfect. Artificial light and shadow are too precise, too sterile—they fail to reveal the soul of things.
The texture of rock is a brushstroke too intricate to replicate; the mist lingers among the trees.
We brought incense into these woods not to adorn nature, but to witness how the wind and rain would obscure its fragrant trails—to let the mountain air dismantle its patterns, strip away human artifice, and lay bare its true form: an unfinished dialogue between plant and air.
Perhaps scent was always nature’s letter to humanity. We ought not frame it for mere admiration. But return it to the wild—let the wind interpret it, let the rain read it.
